The TPAV will again provide funding for the State Schools Garden awards program to the amount of $30,000 in product and labour. 9 schools will be awarded a turf package.

Following on from last years successful sponsorship TPAV were keen to continue with the Schools Garden program as a method to educate young students and their parents on the virtues of natural turf.

The program includes a literature component that details the environmental, health and social benefits of lawn and turf and it is hoped that the next generation will be better informed thereby ensuring the natural lawn remains a part of our landscape in the future. The literature also includes a maintenance component to complete the package and provide a long term sustainable surface.
